“Our work represents a political corpus within the field of art. Initially, between 2000 and 2010, we developed Floating Land: a moveable territory offering Art alternative accommodations, then we gradually focused on formally disparaging the representation that we make for ourselves of human bodies comprising a machine, and a system. In this way we manage to slide the face of power from one scale to another, linking maquettes, sculptures, monuments, and fleeting events. Lastly, in the past few years, the bodies and the structural and dynamic issues that we have been involved with overlap artistic genres and make way for a monstrousness which inserts the matter of the autonomy of a system actually within the work.”

“The referential world of Dejode and Lacombe is made up of video games and computers, B-movies and great films, science fiction and classical literature, art and skateboarding... Another manifestation of a cool Pop Art, an application, without invention, of the precepts of relational aesthetics? No, the relation proposed to the viewer is a trap and the park is much more perverse and cynical than what it lets people glimpse at first glance.
